Stress related illnesses are rising very fast. A person facing constant and regular occurrence of stress can cause harm to the body. After a long journey, after long meetings and maybe after a long tiresome day, the best way to get relieved from the tension and trauma is the use of Stress Balls.

It is an object that is used to help relieve stress by exercising the muscles in the hand.

This is a soft, supple toy made out of a soft material and is usually not more than 7 centimetres in diameter. There are many types, and most of them are made of closed-cell polyurethane foam rubber. The ball is made by injecting the liquid components of the foam into a mould. It main features is that it can fit in the hand easily, allowing a user to squeeze it out of shape while providing some resistance to force the muscles of the hand to work.

The Stress Balls used for physical therapy contains gel of different densities inside a rubber of cloth skin. Another type uses a thin rubber membrane with a fine powder. This final type can also be made at home by filling a balloon with baking soda.

What Are Acai Berry Side Effects?

When you eat most types of food you run the risk of them having side effects. When you consume coffee you can become nervous, when you eat peppers you may notice that you tend to sweat more. The thing that you have to consider when you eat a food is if the positives of the food outweigh the negatives. The same is true with the acai berry. When you begin considering consuming the acai berry products, you may find yourself asking, "What are the acai berry side effects?"

The one side effect that is known to come from consuming the acai berry may actually be considered a positive thing for many people. The main known side effect of this berry is actually a decrease in your appetite. This may not be a bad thing when you consider that you are consuming a lot of vitamins and nutrients, as well as omegas, antioxidants, fiber, and protein from the acai itself. This means that you can do just fine with less of an appetite because your body is getting a lot of nutrients from the berry that will require you to not need to provide yourself with as much food to get these same nutrients. This is one reason why the acai is so good at helping people with weight loss.

One thing about this acai berry side effect is that you would have to consume a lot of the berries to actually notice the decrease in your appetite. However, like stated above; when you are consuming this much of the acai your body doesn't have the need for so much food. For someone that is hoping to gain weight, they can also benefit from the acai and still achieve weight gain. The acai has a lot of nutrients that will help your body to build muscle easier, since muscle weighs more than fat this is one way in which this berry will help you to gain weight.

If you don't want to experience an increase in your energy levels or decrease your appetite then you will want to find that amount of this great product that you can consume without it causing you a decreased appetite. When you are thinking about taking any supplement it is important that you do go over all of the positives and negatives to make sure that the good points outweigh the bad points. When you are considering something as healthy as the acai, you are looking at much more positives.

The only side effects of acia berry is burning a hole in your pocket because it can get expensive depending on where you buy acai products and supplements.

Matcha Green Tea Powder, Weight Loss and the 5 Commons Mistakes in Your Workout

Being in the gym every day as a Personal Trainer, I witness disciplined people dedicated to working out most every day. Secretly, I wish I could pull most of them aside and tell them what they're doing wrong, and how little changes in their routine could catapult them to the next level of amazing results, but I don't, because I wasn't asked. In reviewing your workout routines, please see if you too are guilty of these and take the necessary steps to correct them. Additionally, learn how just two cups of Matcha Green Tea Powder per day will significantly increase your metabolism and burn extra calories during your workout.

So, let's start with the five most common mistakes when working out:

1. Doing the same cardio routine everyday

In the gym, I see the same people on the same cardio machines each and every day. Not only that, they also stay on the very same levels of those machines. Once your body, both your cardiovascular system and your muscles, get used to a certain exercise and become quite adept at it, the benefits diminish because your body doesn't have to work as hard to complete the workout. Thus, the amount of calories burned also declines. You need to vary your workouts, the machines and the levels (which I will go more in depth on in #3). To burn even more calories, having a cup of Matcha green tea powder, could further boost your metabolism by a staggering percentage (also discussed later).

2. Not incorporating weights or strength training

I cannot tell you how many times I've tried to convince people that lifting weights will allow them to lose weight more rapidly than cardio workouts. They just cannot seem to grasp that concept - to them, if they're not profusely sweating after jogging on the treadmill, it wasn't a worthwhile exercise excursion for them. However, weight training not only does a much better job in revving your metabolism, but it also keeps it stoked for a lot longer. Why? Because, your body burns more calories trying to maintain muscle. So, if weight loss is your goal, strength training should absolutely be included in your workout. The absolute perfect scenario is, of course, doing both.

3. Staying at the same level of exertion throughout your workout

Remember, your body needs to be challenged - t needs to work hard to gain the maximum benefits of losing weight and toning. Intermittent bursts is the optimal way to accomplish this. For example, let's say you begin on level 3 on a cardio machine and stay at that level for 2-3 minutes. After that increase the level to 4 for one minute, then raise it to 5 for one minute and so on. Eventually, you will get to a level where you can barely do 20 to 30 seconds. When this happens, go back down to level 3 and begin the process again. Because of these bursts, you will only need 20 to 30 minutes of cardio for an excellent calorie burning workout.

4. Being inefficient in your weight training.

Here again, I witness people not challenging their muscles whatsoever - using weights that are too light and not performing enough reps or sets. You should be using a weight where, on the 12th rep, is difficult to complete. If you can easily fly through 12 to 15 reps, the weight is too light - move on to the next heaviest. Additionally, to fully tax your targeted muscles, you need to complete 3 sets - meaning 12 to 15 reps, three times, with roughly a minute's rest between sets.

5. Not working your entire body.

Upper body strength and endurance without lower body strength endurance will lead to your body being imbalanced. When getting your body fit, you need to work your heart (cardio), your upper and lower body strength (weights) and your core (abs and back). In doing this, you will not only get the balance your body needs, but will also have a lot less injuries.

Lastly, the absolute best way to drop those extra pounds after your workout is to include Matcha Green Tea Powder in your daily routine. Matcha has natural thermongenics which significantly aid in weight loss by increasing energy production and heat, which, in turn, signals to the body, to burn more calories. This increase in metabolism can be as high as 40%! After studying this natural amazing tea, I mentioned it to a few clients. These clients not only lost the last stubborn pounds they had been trying to lose for months, but also had incredible health benefits - including a lowering of blood pressure and cholesterol, clearing of sinus congestion, elimination of PMS and an elevation in mood.

Getting fit, healthy and losing weight is all about four major things: consistency, variation, challenge and including Matcha Green Tea Powder into your daily diet. With attention to each of these, you should feel confident that your time, effort and enthusiasm is 100% productive.

Green Tea and Weight Loss - Using Green Tea For Weight Loss

It seems that there has been an increase in the quantity of herbal products hitting the market lately, and among them, Green Tea (GT) has been in high demand. A large variety of individuals have enjoyed the variety of advantages that green tea provides for you health, however the fact is, that green tea can also be utilized as a weight loss aid. You may not be aware that you can enhance your body's ability to burn calories by consuming herbal tea. Remember that the tea isn't going to burn fat for you, it's simply a tool to help your body burn the fat (burn calories), and hopefully to allow you to reach the weight loss you would like to achieve.

Let's take a look at green tea

GT is derived from the same plant as black tea (Camellia Sinensis). It's the difference in the fermentation and preparation of the leaves, that increases the advantages received from herbal tea. Portions of the active compounds are destroyed in black tea, nevertheless remain active in the green variety. Through those active compounds, fat storage is decreased, and the loss of stored fat is sped up, creating a large influence on the fat in the body.

Why Green Tea affects Weight Loss

GT contains vitamins, minerals and caffeine, however, the primary constituents of interest are the polyphenols, particularly a catechin called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). This catechin has been shown in a trial at the University of Geneva, to speed up the rate at which stored fat is burned for energy by over 30%. It has been established that weight loss will be sped up, and waist size will be decreased, through the use of GT supplementation for three month, and no exercise, or diet modification at all. Studies for instance these have suggested that as well as boosting the metabolic rate, green tea extract can help to block the absorption of fat. So, this means that green tea extract assists in the loss of your current fat stores, and also hinders fat digestion, and prevents your thighs, waist, and hips from storing it.

Advantages of Green Tea

There are additional advantages to consuming GT! The high content of polyphenol in herbal tea, is attributed with helping to reduce cholesterol, decreasing fat build up in the liver, and providing extra protection against cardiovascular disease. We frequently hear that the high level of antioxidants in regular tea, is really beneficial to our health, and since herbal tea contains 6 times the amount of antioxidants located in black tea, it's no wonder that green tea can offer even more advantages to our health.

How much do I need

In order to consume enough GT to equal the amounts used in the research research, which yielded the evidenced antioxidant positive aspects, you would need to drink a minimum of 10 cups each day. Before you rush to brew up, also consider that the evidence linking this tea to fat loss was gained in research utilizing GT extract rather than tea itself. The extract provides a higher concentration of EGCG, perfectly patterned to 90% polyphenols, which may bring concerning the most effective results. You will find that Resveratrol Select is a highly productive product containing green tea extract, and you can now try this product absolutely FREE.

Know the Power of Green Tea Antioxidants For a Good Immune System

Green tea antioxidants are said to be hundred times more effective than vitamin E. Precisely for this reason it is very popular these days amongst health conscious community. Once you see the herb from health point of view, perhaps you should consider taking it in extract form rather than to take as a drink. Many people may not like the aroma. In fact the taste will be awful if one takes it in decaffeinated format.

All our diseases are due to immune deficiency. What do we mean by that? It is something like allowing weeds to spoil the wheat plants. Free radicals are the weeds in our body. They are the cells damaged and floating around to steal the lost proton from the good cells. Either they have to be scavenged or they have to be provided with a proton.

How cells are damaged? Oxidation is responsible. The oxygen what we inhale that is vital for our survival degenerates the cells. It is like rusting a metal or making a cut apple brown.

If you provide good nutrition to our body, the cells will get regenerated and our immune system will be healthy. For this our nutrition should have adequate quantity of antioxidants.

While all the foods we eat have nutrition and some quantity of antioxidants, there are few substances which are rich in antioxidants. The leaf from the plant camellia sinensis has substantial quantity of polyphenol catechin which is a great antioxidant. There is a bioflavonoid called epigallocatechin gallete (EGCG) present in catechin provides powerful green tea antioxidants. The quantum of the antioxidant in the leaf makes it very popular for good health reasons.

Cancer, arthritis, stroke, cardiac problems, cholesterol etc., are the result of weak immune system. Adequate antioxidants will provide strong immune system and one can postpone ageing, live a healthy life for a longer period.

In dried form, the leaf has 25% of catechin. Almost 50% of catechin is EGCG. In case you cannot relish the aroma of green tea, you should go in for capsules or pills to get the benefits of green tea antioxidants.

While there is no doubt about the antioxidants content in the leaf from camellia sinensis, it cannot be sole answer for proper immune system. One can get synergy out of different nutrition and find a permanent solution to maintain a good immune system provided the nutrition intake is seen from holistic point of view. I maintain a good immune system and lead a healthy life by taking a natural nutrition supplement which has all the nutrition required including the green tea antioxidants from camellia sinensis. I do not need to worry about the dosage etc., because they are added after extensive research done by reputed scientists. You should visit my website and I am sure you will benefit for a long and healthy life.

Green Tea Benefits - Effects on Eye Disease Prevention

Is there any condition that green tea won't benefit? In recent news, green tea consumption has been shown to help with glaucoma prevention. A study done by the University of Hong Kong tested the beverage on rats to observe the effects of the antioxidants on their eyes. The results indicated that, for up to 20 hours after green tea consumption, the antioxidants still had an effect of reducing oxidative stress on the eye. While, for humans, this may come as a result of drinking four or more cups per day, these benefits compound to those offered to weight loss, depression, and cancer prevention.

The study done by the University of Hong Kong consists of several rats being fed green tea overtime. Although the form of the tea - either in pill or liquid - isn't known, the antioxidant compounds in it appeared to reduce the oxidative stress in the rats' eyes during a period of 20 hours after consumption. More specifically, the catechins were found to be absorbed by several parts of the eye. The retina, for example, absorbed a large amount of gallocatechins, while the aqueous humor absorbed mostly epigallocatechins.

When applied to humans, this study indicates that the consumption of green tea can help prevent eye diseases like glaucoma that result from the oxidation of eye tissues. Essentially, as shown by the study, the eyes absorb the catechins - the antioxidants - found in the beverage. The effects aren't permanent, however. As the study indicates, the absorption of the catechins lasts for up to 20 hours. While this may be the entire time a person is awake and active, he or she will need to consume a few cups of tea the next morning - and every morning after - to continue receiving the same benefits.

Why is green the only type of tea that appears to have significant health benefits? Out of the three types, white tea hasn't been studied as often, although the antioxidants are higher, and black tea has been processed too much. Generally, teas keep more antioxidants with less processing. Because green tea is consumed more in parts of the world, its effects have been studied regularly for nearly 20 years.

Green Tea Weight Loss - Is Green Tea an Appetite Suppressant?

Green tea is sometimes considered to be an appetite suppressant. This would of course be a quite convenient weight loss solution, just drinking a bit of tea and having no hunger or appetite any more. Studies support this only for injections of that tea (at least in rats), but not for drinking this kind of tea. Also drinking more of this tea than 3-5 cups per day does not help more health wise and so far no dose dependent relationship could be established when consuming green tea orally.

However, drinking this tea seems to balance blood sugar spikes. If the blood sugar spikes get reduced, the subsequent insulin response is also more balanced which in turn helps to prevent cravings. Tea as any other liquid also helps you to feel full and this altogether is maybe why it is said to be suppress someone's appetite. And this is not the same as being an appetite suppressant as cravings or increased appetite are not always exclusively due to biochemical reasons like blood sugar or insulin levels, but also emotional factors play an important role.

Although some weight loss studies have proved the beneficial effects of green tea on weight loss, just drinking any green weight loss tea might not give you the same result. In the studies certain compounds of this tea like caffeine, catechins and EGCG were probably measured beforehand to find a brand of grean tea which provides a high content of these ingredients.

Most likely the less processed a tea is the higher the quality and content of the effective components. Also, if you can find organic tea this usually makes a difference in quality and bioactive components are more likely to still be functional. If you want to make green tea part of your weight loss program, rather go for better quality than just getting the cheap versions from your grocery store.

Conclusion:

Green tea is not the magic bullet of weight loss that melts your fat depots while you can go on having chocolate cake, universal laws are still in place and to lose weight you still need to eat less than you burn. Neither is this tea an appetite suppressant, although it should balance your blood sugar somewhat and reduce cravings this way. Nevertheless, a few good cups of tea per day make you feel full and satiated and can also keep cravings in check. So, do not expect wonders, but have your tea nevertheless, it is the healthier option to coffee either way!
